My name is Susan Petracco and I'm the Mama Chimp here in this jungle. I was born and raised in South Carolina, but headed for the sunshine and beaches of Florida after graduating college. Here I met my husband, and then we bounced over to Tampa and then Houston before coming back to Brevard County, FL where hopefully we've settled down for good. We have three children.
Pete and I both work for ourselves, which we've done since 1999 and full-time since 2004. We build ecommerce websites and develop a sales tax solution called AccurateTax.com, which online stores use to calculate and track the sales tax on their store's orders.
In my free time, I like to hang with the family, do home improvement/repair, cross-stitch and crochet, run or lift, and take pictures of wildlife. If you'd like to see my bird pictures you can head over to my personal Instagram account.
I'm also an avid reader. I love historical fiction, especially stories set in medieval Europe, as well as fantasy. I have a guilty pleasure for YA dystopian novels.
